Skywave Electronics Australia Pty Ltd was founded in 1995 and incorporated in 1996 initially to cater for the refurbishment of all Sanyo returned products. Over the years other leading brand names have contracted Skywaves professionalism and experience to handle their T2 products.

Skywave pioneered the factory second industry and has left its footprint in creating public awareness for the concept of factory seconds. Skywave was the first to use the term “factory second” which it established in its early years.

Skywave has developed a strong customer base in both the local and overseas market and has heavily contributed to the consumer electronic refurbishment industry.

Skywave currently operates from two locations located in Wetherill Park, Sydney employing a total of 18 staff and occasionally contract external staff to meet with any overflow such as Christmas demands.

Skywave currently has over 350 product lines ranging from an egg cooker through to LED TV’s and has the capacity of continuous supply to both its substantial customer base of factory second shops scattered throughout NSW and to the overseas market.
